Gluten free fish and chips, that’s basically all I have to say! Friendly staff, food is great. Went back for a second night.

Absolutely brilliant spot! The food was fantastic – the Scottish breakfast was top-notch, and the Eggs Benedict with haggis was just pure heaven. The cocktails were spot on, perfectly made and full of flavour. The atmosphere’s warm, lively and full of Scottish charm – exactly what you’d hope for in the heart of Edinburgh. Everything was just perfect – we’ll definitely be back!

Welcoming, quick service, clean and great atmosphere. Nicest cocktails I had in Edinburgh and the steak pie was delicious. It would be good to have the choice of mash as an alternative to chips. They have live bands each evening but we came to eat early evening.

Very nice location, nice decoration and vibes spot on. We've been served by Jack (I believe it's the name, sorry if not) and the nice lady with red hair. The food was lovely, I got the salmon and my partner got the chicken dish, the haggis roll spring were amazing and the plum sauce was to die for, so was the whiskey flight 6 experience. 100% recommended for a Scottish experience.

We didn’t have a reservation and walked into this pub. We were very happy with the atmosphere , service and the food! Beef pie and the Skink soup we had, both were excellent. We finished with caramel bread pudding and it was delicious. I wish we had more room in our stomach as the fish and chips in the table next to us looked delicious as well.
