  Visited Walkabout as part of a night out with a group of 14, all pre-ordered in advance yet somehow it still turned into a complete shambles from start to finish. First issue: not enough chairs at the table. A great start. Drink orders followed, with some arriving quickly while others never turned up at all. Promising. Starters were chaotic. I had the chicken tenders, which were okay at best, though the random prawn crackers on top were baffling genuinely no idea what was going on there. By the time I’d finished mine, half the table hadn’t even received theirs, and two starters never arrived at all. Mains were even worse. Portion sizes were genuinely laughable — children’s portions at adult prices. The food was bland, not even properly warm, and once again two meals were missing, arriving only after the rest of us were halfway through eating. Staff seemed completely uninterested throughout. Dessert didn’t redeem anything. Some sort of doughnut dish with an odd texture and strange sauce again, everything just felt off. Overall, a disorganised, embarrassing experience from start to finish. Poor service, missing food, tiny portions, and zero care shown. Wouldn’t return unless they were giving the food away for free.

  Great bar to watch sports. Staff friendly and attentive. Saw lovely food coming out, but did not partake ourselves. Will be back when next in Glasgow

  Returned my meal as festive chicken burger was cold. I waited while fiancee ate his meal. By the time my meal was redelivered he had finished his and is less than passable peroni beer and had to sit while I ate mine warmer was warmer but not the hot meal I was expecting. No apology was forthcoming. Toilets were a disgrace. Ladies was stinking even others in there at the time commented. Partner said gents was stinking and had large pool of vomit that a poor member of staff was trying to deal with. Food was slightly below average in both our opinions and we would definitely not go back and discourage anyone I knew who was planning to eat there

  We had our office Christmas lunch at Walkabout. The quality of food for the price was excellent. The service was outstanding and the area reserved for us was perfect. Would thoroughly recommend.

  Went there on a Monday night. The staff were friendly and chatty. The food was good although my daughter felt her burger was a little burnt. Even though it was quiet it felt cosy and chilled and we were comfortable being there. Nice spacious bar with plenty of tables.
