We were sat enjoying drinks in this bar but after a couple of hours the bouncer came and asked us to leave. He said we had been drinking our own drinks in the toilet. This was not true but they wouldn't listen to us and threatened us with the police if we didn't leave. We weren't sat without drinks all afternoon and we weren't even drinking vodka. We were treated appallingly and will never set foot in here again. (There were 6 of us aged from 56 to 70. We can afford to buy drinks)

Our first visit to York was an excellent experience. We visited. Several venues for afternoon drinks and looking for a nice atmosphere. We stumbled across the Three cranes and we was knocked. Back how helpful Charlotte was a prized member of staff nothing was to much Charlotte went above and beyond her duties to make our visit most welcome.

Proper Pub. Excellent Beer. About as Traditional as you're likely to find in York. No gimmics, well kept beer, friendly people and memorable music Keep it simple

Ended up stumbling across the three cranes by accident on a night out and were invited in by some locals stood outside smoking, they bought us a round and all had a lovely chat with us! Lovely staff and lovely customers, a proper ‘Yorkshire pub’ in a great location. Very reasonably priced! Although I have been put off Sambuca for life 🤣

Visiting York with Ic and Flic to savour the Christmas festivities. This pub sits beside the main run of Christmas cabins next to the Roman Baths pub. This is a traditional two room pub with two real ales. Tetley and Ossett. I had the Ossett Blonde. Very good. Lovely festive decorations.
