Run up to Christmas, everything is busy - but massive 'spoons had a table. Dead easy to sort food and drink ( drink with meal keeps things nicely priced ), and barely a wait. No music so you could actually converse at a normal volume. Quality of food was wonderful and the choice was perfectly adequate. Very happy indeed with the whole experience!

We ordered with the app and it took around 20 mins to come. It was quite busy as it was black Friday. I was happy the the peas tasted like they were frozen peas rather than tinned peas. They have vegitarian options and a child's menu. We ate between 2-5 and there was a reduced price menu.

Stayed at the holiday inn over the road where the price of breakfast is extortionate. Used posters gate for breakfast which was excellent. Good quality, fast service and great price. We also ate here on one night and again it was an excellent experience. The staff were all efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

Food is nice, got that traditional whetherspoons vibe going for it. Gets extremely busy on a Friday and Saturday night so just be mindful when choosing this place. Service has been quite fast for me, found the steak hard to eat as it was quite chewy, but all the other food I've had has been great.
