Big bright expensive noisy no real ale. Large TV screens. Lots of Christmas lights and outdoor seating if you don't mind getting cold. Good atmosphere and worth a visit nevertheless. Can be extremely busy.

Lovely bar staff - very friendly and welcoming. Lots of screens showing sport inside and plenty of out door benches to sit and chat .. also, they let me take my glass pint outside rather than give me a plastic glass .. probably not that unusual but it was a surprise just the same.. presumably this speaks volumes of the types of usually go to 😬

My first time here and o think it’ll be brilliant to watch some sporting events on TV with a crowd. They have signs which suggests that they are strict with not allowing specific teams to take over the place (they don’t allow club colors). The staff were also very nice and friendly. The pear tree is definitely on my list as a spot to watch my football games 😊

Amazing comedy night during the fringe, stumbled here upon chance and on a summers day can imagine it being absolutely rocking, we ended up seeing a comedy show here, totally unexpected, and it was amazing..great way to spend an hour and really reasonably priced drinks. Great outdoor area with a stage, i imagine live music here is amazing.

Very nice atmosphere came here with a party of five and it was amazing. Quiet music playing and nobody was loud with a beautiful patio area and delicious drinks and snacks
