Amazing pub - top local, with great food, great staff and great core beer selection with lovely wines too and the owners are brilliant. I’m a true regular now! I recommend popping in if you’re around the area.

Good was spot on! Food came out quick, I had pizza on Wednesday Pizza Day and it was delicious, I couldn’t finish it so took the rest home. Service was on point with really friendly staff. Atmosphere was nice and chill and then around 7 ish there’s also a quiz night and the atmosphere from there was static with good music and just all round really fun! Would 100% recommend coming as there’s different things on all week.

We have always wanted to try this pub, as we have lived in Bath for over a year now. We came in Saturday and asked about their Sunday roast, and how the cauliflower cheese was done. Daniel said “I’ll show you” he then went into the kitchen and made his home made Yorkshire pudding and a pot of cauliflower cheese, as a taster. This was amazing, so we came back for the roast on Sunday and wasn’t disappointed the size of the plate and food was fantastic. They also put the Women’s Rugby on for us, which was a bonus. Lovely place, with friendly staff and will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience.

We found The Old Crown whilst on a walk from Bath Waterside Marina and Caravan Park, it was about a 35 minute walk. The bar staff were friendly and the toilets were clean. Two pints cost £11.40 There was a sign stating WiFi available, however the WiFi was not working, we were told it was something to do with being linked to a credit card and not being secure. It was good to see that younger looking people were being asked for identification. (Those days have long gone for me) The menu appeared limited, Garlic Bread Starter and a variety of Pizzas. Whilst the staff were friendly the pub itself appeared full of locals and the atmosphere made us feel like slightly unwelcome outsiders. Dogs are welcome which is great, however the area we sat smelt strongly of dogs and the furnishings/cushions appeared grim.... To be honest this put us off eating here. Overall, an ok pub for a quick beverage for us.
