A fantastic place, just besides the Mill lane punting station. FOOD comes with a large portion and are very tasty. Sofia is very warm and provides excellent service.

We ate dinner at The Mill Pub last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Shiv and Tilly were very hospitable and friendly. The fireplace added warmth and atmosphere and the food was delicious. We ordered fish and chips and they were done to perfection; crispy batter, light fresh fish and crispy fries. I highly recommend this restaurant. When we got there all the bathrooms were fixed and clean.

Such a beautiful space to spend a cozy autumn afternoon in. My 4 friends and I ordered some of the items off their menu to share as we all couldn’t decide on one from the delicious selection. The food was AMAZING! And to top off the warming atmosphere from the seasonal decorations / log burner as well as the gorgeous food we were greeted by such lovely and helpful staff who made for a very pleasant experience. I will be returning again not only for a delicious meal with the family but also for just drinks and hang outs with my friends.

The Mill is one of those rare pubs that makes you feel like both a local and a guest at the same time. Perfectly placed on the river with beautiful views, it has a charm that never feels forced. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, whether you’re popping in for a quick pint or settling in for a longer stay with friends. What really stands out is the staff—genuine, attentive, and clearly proud of the place. The food and drink options strike a great balance: classic pub fare done right, plus thoughtful touches that make the menu feel fresh. And of course, the setting speaks for itself. Sitting outside by the water on a sunny afternoon, you’re reminded why Cambridge has such a special pull. I’ve visited many pubs, but The Mill is one I always look forward to returning to. It’s not just a pub; it feels like part of the Cambridge experience. Highly recommended.

Good solid pub in a great location. The mango cider was a killer!! Also the chips are great. Only reason I held off a star was due to the table being extra sticky and finding an empty wrapper left on the seat that was not cleaned.
