The Hairy Lemon was recommended to me for my “Dublin Pub Crawl” list by a Guinness Gravity Bar bartender so I had to make the stop. My Wisconsin brain naturally assumed this was Dublin’s unofficial Green Bay Packers bar. Not quite… but we can pretend. We visited during the week and it was fairly quiet, which gave us time to wander around and actually see the place. This pub is huge, with multiple floors and different areas to enjoy depending on whatever style you are in the mood for. The Hairy Lemon seems to cater more to tourists and not so much to the local crowd. There are US dollar bills and American police and military patches covering most walls. It's not really that authentic pub vibe, but the place has tons of character. Fun signs, quirky decor, and playful energy. Even on a quiet night, you could tell this place turns into a full-on party when the weekend hits. Overall, The Hairy Lemon was a fun stop with a great atmosphere. Not the Packers bar I thought it was, but still a place worth checking out.

The hairy lemon is a very fun, cool place to eat and grab a drink. I ordered a burger and it was very good! Garlic bread was yummy but the star of the show was my mixed drink. The Irish made is delicious and I would highly recommend!

I ordered the beef stew, and it was absolutely delicious. Rich, hearty, and full of flavor. The meat was incredibly tender, and the broth had that perfect homemade taste that feels comforting and authentic. The atmosphere was warm and lively, and the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. It’s exactly the kind of cozy Dublin pub you hope to find. Highly recommend stopping by, especially if you want a proper Irish meal done right. I’ll definitely be back! 🍀

I found the Hairy Lemon! 🍋 The most unconventional pub in Dublin. It’s a riot of memorabilia (High Nellies! Wellies! Granny's Kitchen?). 🤯 Plus, scenes from *The Commitments* were filmed here! 🎬 Great Guinness, great food, great chaos. Skip Temple Bar & find the Lemon. 5/5, would get lost in the decor again. 🍻🇮🇪✨

Lively place. Very Busy. It took a while to get our order in, and our food. But when drinks and dinner did arrive...Quite good. The Guinness Beef Stew w/ puff pastry crust was excellent. (Teeling) Old Fashioneds were solid as well. Multi-level place. Get up and a window seat (overlooking the street) if you can.
