  THE PLACE TO BE, to connect with Bath people! If you've ever watched US sitcom "Cheers", I liken Grapes to that - "Where everybody knows your name"! DOG-FRIENDLY!! Wheelchair accessible service & seating, but not the loos.. 😓🙏🏼 Clientele ranges from students to "old hands" & lucky visitors to Bath who choose to pop in for a tipple. The Staff are super-friendly, as are the regulars, and everyone knows everyone. Live Music or DJ, check times with bar staff. Plenty of seating, including out front designated seating area (also for smokers/vapers), and a LONG BAR making getting service quite easy! Door Security keeps riffraff away...

  Frites shop across the way very kindly delivers the food to your seat at the Grapes. Excellent vibes, staff and drinks.

  Returning to an old student haunt with friends. Great to see local beers on tap and a wonderful variety of cans available too. The seating outside was perfect for a summer’s day and it felt good to be back.

  1st time. Good vibes about the place. Staff were warm & welcoming. Hotchpotch of furniture but lends itself to the character of the place. Definitely will go back. Footnote, that cider is smooth as smooth, lovely.
