  One of those 100% authentic pubs, not a tourist trap, just the real thing. Fresh Guinness on tap, poured perfectly by a bartender who actually knows his job. The garden is a hidden gem. Somehow, on a Friday evening, I ended up there alone for half an hour: just me, the trees, and a pint that stayed cold until the last sip. Well, I actually ordered two more, and you won’t blame me for that, right? A small minus: they only take credit cards (no debit!) or cash. Slightly annoying, but it doesn’t spoil the charm. A proper pub with character: cozy, friendly, and full of soul. Five stars, cheers 🍻

  That's a great bar to spend the evening with your friends. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. The drinks were tasty too and the cost was satisfying. Recommended!

  the beer is ok but their refusal to enter the XXI century is revolting. they don't accept essentially any card: they don't accept debit cards (most cards in existence), Bancontact (the most used payment system in Belgium), American Express (why?), Revolut (no reason). They've essentially narrowed down the accepted means of payment to almost nil. (they used to accept more, but they've recently added more restrictions BY MARKER).The result? They get paid in cash, I wonder why. The staff is incredibly rude, just repeating "we told you so" while grabbing the cash with glee.

  Very nicely decorated bar, cheap beers, ok food. I would visit again, the service was also fine, although it would be good to mention yourself if you pay with cash that you have the discount..
