My husband dragged me in here as a surprise (because I’m Australian) and our plan was to just have a beer and move on to dinner. We initially succumbed to the terrific house fries and then we met Freddie the dog and couldn’t bring ourselves to leave. Also, my husband managed to fix a wiring glitch in the large television screens for the staff, who very kindly offered him a free beer. Nice food (especially the pie) and great beer, everything is spotless, and it’s as welcoming to people coming in for a cup of tea as it is to the beer/football fans. Would highly recommend.

Great place to watch the rugby. The service was great and all the staff were very friendly. The beers and food were also great.

Lovely place for drinks and billiard. It's best to reserve the pool table one day in advance, especially for weekends. It's paid per hour. Their espresso martini is amazing. Service is top notch.

Fun atmosphere similar to a sports bar with great food and service. The beer was flowing with timely service, tried the kangaroo steak that tasted like a tenderloin with a slight pleasant gamey aftertaste.

Really fun place! We went on trivia night completely by random. Great service and atmosphere. Sadly the food was rather bland that night. Will certainly try it again on a non event night!
