Absolutely stunner of a place as you can get food and drink all within very reasonable rates. I keep coming here and try new beers, just love it here as people are also nice especially the staff!! Worthwhile checking this place out!!

My experience for breakfast this morning was a little disappointing. I ordered the Scottish breakfast but it came with a Lincolnshire sausage rather than a square sausage, so basically the only difference with the standard breakfast was the potato scone. Also, the hot drinks machine wasn’t dispensing hot chocolate correctly and it was basically just warm milk - thankfully a different machine was ok. The staff however were helpful and the service for the food was quick. My experience wouldn’t detract me from visiting again some time.

Large Wetherspoons in an old bank building, beautiful location. It was quite busy, hard to find a table despite it being Tuesday early afternoon. Affordable beers and food, although the food is usually basic and lacking quality. Had chicken "strips" that were more like little balls. Impressive selection of ales. They have a large outside seating area. Recommended for a visit during a city trip to Glasgow.

Formally the Bank of Scotland building now it's a grand weatherspoons. Absolutely beautiful inside, the safes are being used as small private rooms there's ample space all sitting under a lovely glass dome. We were made very welcome by Joe who looked after us. Would recommend The Counting House for breakfast we had 1 medium vegetarian breakfast a medium full Scottish and 2 times unlimited Coffees. All for the incredible price of a touch above £13. Incredible value !! We discussed the price over breakfast and came to the conclusion if we would of had breakfast at Costa or Starbucks it would of been that price just for the coffees. Many thanks Joe for the exceptional customer service also a big thankyou to the Chef and the rest of the team. Definitely be returning next time we are in Glasgow and would highly recommend a visit to The Counting House.

large pub with an incredible selection of drinks and great prices and super friendly staff who give great recommendations. it's very crowded and the tables could use a cleaning, though.
