I was in Victoria for the day for an appointment. I popped into Tapa bar for a late lunch, and was pleasantly surprised to find they have a daily happy hour. I ordered a margarita, and the muscles de cha cha cha. Both were delicious. The muscles were served with a generous portion of bread, and it was almost too much food (and I’m never one to say that). My bill for this fantastic meal came to a whopping $33, what a steal! Fantastic service too. I don’t catch her name (long blonde hair and glasses), but my server was the perfect balance of attentive without bothering me too much. 10/10 experience. I’ll be back!

Lovely tapas bar tucked in a nice alley. The heated patio was perfect for October. The bacon wrapped dates were to die for and the sangria was very well made.

I thought the place was pretty decent, but it’s a bit expensive in my opinion. But all foods in Victoria seem expensive. I liked the cocktails, and the flavouring for the food was good too, especially the spicy sauces.

We were recommended this place by fellow travelers in Vancouver when we mentioned we were passing through Victoria. Although the menu is simple and seems box standard, the plates were amazing, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be recommending to others. Pay it forward 😋

A nice spot for small plates and a drink! Friendly service and a chill, easy going vibe. Good tasting food and seating, perfect for a relaxing night out.
