The power went down in SF, and this bar lit up. It was packed, they treated everyone with kindness, and it was an awesome time to experience this place. Food and beer is amazing, donβt slack on this classic sf spot.

Delicious, well-priced food, sports on multiple TVs. This restaurant bar has a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. I came for a burger and onion rings though. I ordered the burger medium and had the fries substituted for onion rings, totalling $11.96 before tip. Between the toasted buns, there were fresh slices of onion and tomato, and a piece of lettuce on a perfectly seasoned patty. I love great onion rings and this place has great onion rings. They're battered, not breaded, and perfectly crisped. The onion is cooked well, so the onion doesn't get pulled out when you bite in. My food came with ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard, but it was so good, I didn't need any of it. I'd recommend visiting this restaurant bar, because they have delicious and fairly-priced food. It seems to have lots of German stuff. I'd visit again and try some of their sausages or breakfast items. On a separate visit, I had their wienerschnitzel. It was crisp and well seasoned.

Had to pull into Steins for a couple of pops with Greasy the Two Timer, and overheard a group of Posers talking about how wonderful the Schnitzel is, and that's all it took for me to get some for myself. Well, it is good as a matter of fact it's Amazing! 5 stars all day long. βββββ

TLDR: sports bar/ German beer hall style with pretty good and really inexpensive food We came for game 1 of the nba finals and there were still a bit of seats available. There was a big selection of beers to choose from and we ordered a two sausage plate with fries for $15 and a fish and chips for $12 or $13. Both are fairly inexpensive and tasted pretty good though one of the sausages didnβt really have too much flavor, I did really enjoy the beef one. Friendly service

If you want no frills, high quality food and tasty beers in a German beer hall like environment, then look no further. The kraut, to knackwurst to my favorite, the schnitzel...you can't go wrong. The bartenders are chill and the food amazing. While I don't really care, my friends also love that there are plenty of TVs pushing local sports as well. If you're in the area, go for a visit. And don't just get the schnitzel sando, go for the platter!!!
