Very comfy ambience with a cellar style, good beer selection on tap and some bottled, food is very tasty (lekker fries) but portions could be bigger for the price paid. There's no parking on site and around it is very limited, and you might need to park a bit far and walk 50 meters. Most people come by bike.

Very nice place! Sit outside and enjoy a beer and some food. Brewery tour was going on whilst we were there, looked very interesting. Would go back for sure!

Gezellig atmosphere, warm, friendly and helpful staff, a great selection of beers and other drinks including low/no alcohol options for the BOBs, and excellent food, all at a reasonable price. I tried the burger. It was the best burger I've ever tasted; succulent and thick, with a choice of thin or thick fries, this was a hearty meal. The place was busy yet even being almost full, we could still have a conversation at our table without having to raise our voices.

Phenomenal hidden treasure just outside of Utrecht. The huge old barn has been beautifully transformed into a brewery and restaurant with a great range of beers on tap. Along with the core De Prael line they have Grolsch and Pilsner Urquell on tap, and even their own Roodnoot beer which is super delicious. The staff is kind and helpful and the food is just what you need to accompany a few drinks. The patio outside is incredible, especially since it faces west and gets great sunlight all afternoon. Inside the barn the historic elements of the building are on display as well as a really interesting collection of beer memorabilia, including a little museum like collection of historic Dutch breweries. Highly recommended if youβre in the area and even worth biking over from Utrecht or farther.
