The best julbord we've had, ever! We've always been a little envious of the variety of dishes in a Swedish Christmas Table, but to add wild meat to that diversity, just WOW. And the cheese table! No words. Thank you, Pivo, for a delicious and unforgettable dining experience.

Food did not taste good at all, home made food taste much more better, duck was ovecooked, glass was empty all the time and no one asked for refill, dessert was the wordt part, tasted like medicine

So, great atmosphere. The appetizer tartare was awesome but got served way too early (about 2 min after we got our starting cocktails). Main courses were split: the skewers were amazing (and coneable) but the wild boar was under-salted and a bit over-cooked but apart from that a very good dish. Service was good, drink prices significantly lower than we’re used to in these kinds of places, and for once a cheese platter left nothing wanted. Go here, sit outside, and enjoy.

We had the Christmas table (Julbord) and it was absolutely fantastic! I was looking for a place that offers a Julbord with a twist to it since I find the traditional one rather boring. This was exactly what I was hoping for: One could recognise the structure and classic dishes of a Julbord but with different, wild ingredients as well as several new dishes. It was worth every crown and I am looking forward to coming back to try the regular menu!

I absolutely recommend this place if you're in Gothenburg. First of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful (they explained everything about the dishes and the ingredients), and the food was an absolutely brilliant experience. We were offered bread and butter as a starter, which was very tasty. We wanted to try something local and peculiar, and this restaurant certainly had what we were looking for: we tried the venison tartare, the venison fillet and the boar steak and they left us speechless. The venison is soft and literally melts in your mouth, and I particularly enjoyed the combination of boar meat with nduja and tomatoes. I cannot thank the waiter enough for reommending those dishes to us. I must say they didn't feel too expensive as the quality was very high. We'll certainly go again if we happen to visit Gothernburg again!
