A nice looking venue with a good atmosphere. Great attentive staff, very friendly, and apologetic when I complained. The worst fish & chips I’ve ever had! Over cooked haddock, in such thick batter that you couldn’t taste the fish. The tiny pots of peas and curry sauce were stone cold. A great place let down by very poor food, not good at the prices they charge.

Went to The Old Bicycle Shop for brunch with my partner. Food was nice, service was friendly and quick. The non brunch menu looked reasonable too so will have to come back and try that. Update: I came back with some friends, later in the year. I should have thought it was a bad sign that all the tables had blankets on them. It was really cold in the restaurant. Then they took a food delivery which meant that the front door was propped open for 20 minutes. With temperatures outside in the low single figures, this made an already cold room, really cold. We did eat of the main menu and the food was good.

✨ The Old Bicycle Shop, Cambridge 🚴♀️ A perfect blend of heritage and hospitality! Loved their creative presentation — from beautifully plated food to the charming cycle-themed décor. Every corner tells a story, every dish adds to the experience. 🍽️💫 A must-visit for those who appreciate vintage vibes with modern taste! We enjoyed our breakfast with family. Loved their veggies with egg options. #CambridgeVibes #TheOldBicycleShop #TravelDiaries #FoodPresentation #VintageCharm #LifestyleWithPoojaVyaas

Visited here for brunch after a recommendation but I’m not sure if we made the wrong choices. We went for the full English but it’s was definitely lacking for the price. No where near enough bacon and the sausage tasted weird to me. Bailey’s coffee was also a lot for the size. Jas was very friendly though.
