  Dropped in on a cold afternoon walk for late lunch. Quiet but fantastic atmosphere. We tried the seafood chowder, Mary’s sandwich and potato leek soup of the day. Delicious. Chowder was one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend a visit.

  Had the smash burger and fries at Mary Mullens in Galway and it was absolutely fantastic. The food came out quickly and tasted amazing. The music and overall vibe were class and the place was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday which says a lot. Big shoutout to Claire and the manager Pa who were on top of everything and really looked after guests. Brilliant experience overall. I will definitely be back.

  We went for lunch on Monday and the food was absolutely beautiful! I had potatoes with truffle mayo and chowder with brown bread. My wife fish burger, also pulled beef sandwich. All brilliant! The service was so good. We were served by a girl from Greece and she couldn't do enough for us. So attentive with our questions about the city as well. We feel sorry we didn't go back for dinner there...

  If I lived in Galway this would be my GO TO place. Very cool. Indoor/Outdoor areas. Stylish corner nooks for seating. Loved the different bar areas Great food! The roast pork belly was amazing! Gluten free beer ON TAP! POW, baby! There’s something for everyone here!! We visited to deliver a message from a bartender at Bagheera (in Vancouver 🇨🇦) to Enda, the manager at Mary Mullens. We are so glad we did!!

  Found this place randomly and glad I did! The decor is cool and they have an enclosed courtyard. I had the beef cheeks and the Galway Mess for dessert. Both were amazing! It took a while for my dessert to come out so the waitress kindly comped it.
