It had been 10 years. This Saturday returned to one of my favorite bars in Copenhagen. What a disaster now! At the entrance, we were stopped by a hostes who said there was no space. The place was half-dead at 22:30. I said excuse me, we just want to hang out in the bar and get a drink. No. We had to be seated where she decided we could sit. Eventually she agreed we could sit in two of the four free stols in the bar. Lots of the table had only 3-4 people. Let me be frank here. When you go to a bar you want to feel free. Move around as you feel. Sit where you feel. Stand where you feel. And talk to people. Lidkøb is a dead end. Another lively bar in Copenhagen turned in to a control freak monster. We left. Didn’t buy a drink.

We only tried the craft beer, but it was excellent. Each type we sampled had rich and unique taste that stood out. The staff were very friendly and the cozy atmosphere made it perfect for quiet evening with family. It felt warm, welcoming and unhurried. The outdoor seating was very lovely, with warm lights that created very relaxing mood. It fet like a cozy place where you can enjoy your drink.

Very classic cocktail bar with a lot of good things to try. The atmosphere is superb and staffs are friendly. I spent my first amazing night in Copenhagen at the Lidkoeb until quite late night, it made my good memories of 🇩🇰 This bar would absolutely be my home bar if I am based in Copenhagen!

Down an alley off of a main street in Copenhagen is a cocktail bar that's more of an oasis. My buddy and I arrived at 6pm on a Sunday evening, just in time for the bartender to open the giant gates to the outdoor patio. We walked inside and sat at a large booth table. Here's our experience: 1) Cocktails: The menu is only two pages, but each cocktail is quality. Having a sweet tooth, I ordered the R&R with Roe and Company whiskey, rhubarb liqueur, raspberries, lemon and sugar. I can honestly say it's the best cocktail I've ever have. Even with a price tag of $20, I almost ordered another, because of how balanced it was made. 2) Space: It's down an alley. Enough said. The outdoor patio and the inside space are simple, but well designed. 3) Service: It's superb- attentive, fast and friendly. If you have any questions, the bartender will guide you through the menu.
