The drinks, the food, the service, all of it such a good vibe. Our waitress, Gosia, was the best!!! Gave good recommendations and super friendly. Highly recommend reservations, as this place is super awesome and super busy, but they will still seat you if you don’t have.

Went here for a late evening dinner and the kitchen was still open during the last 30 minutes before closing. Staff were very polite and accommodating. Food itself was decent, the ribs were tender and juicy. Location is key as it is in the exact center of town where all the interesting and touristy places are. It turns into much of a drinking place later on in the evening. Recommended in centrum area of Poznan!

What an amazing experience! I originally intended to dine at Ratuszova, but their kitchen was already closed. I asked the hostess where she would recommend I dine, and she pointed me here—and I’m so glad she did! First of all, the service from my waiter, Sebastian, was absolutely excellent. He took it upon himself to educate me about the regional cuisine and suggest several different options to my taste. His recommendations were spot on, and I ended up having a meal that has been a highlight of my trip. The food showed an attention to detail and an excellence in cooking skill beyond expectations. The texture of my Pyra z gzikiem was superb—the potato was perfectly cooked, and the cheese almost had a whipped texture and was topped with a crunchy buckwheat popcorn that offered an appealing contrasting crunch to the almost ethereal cheese. The filet z kurczaka was perfectly cooked—juicy and flavorful, with prominent herb flavors throughout. The finale was the sernik brûlée—a Polish-style cheesecake that (sorry) beats the socks off of anything from Junior’s—which was deliciously creamy with a balanced sweetness and the crunch of the thin layer of caramelized sugar. I chose two drinks: I started with a specialty iced Matcha latte with strawberry purée, which was juicy and refreshing. I followed that up with a house-made iced tea with passionfruit purée and lemon juice, which quite possibly ranks among the best iced teas I’ve ever tasted. Amazing find and I’m glad the historic Ratuszova was closed and I got to experience this amazing meal. I might even stop back by tomorrow for the duck pierogi—I have no doubt it will exceed every other dumpling experience I’ve had this trip. When you eat where workers from other restaurants eat, you know you’re in for a treat. Kudos to the team here!

Delicious food. Huge portions. Great service. Wide ranging menu. Beautiful location on the shady side of the town square. I'm from the American Southwest (Texas, Kansas and California), and I got my money's worth on huge portions at this restaurant. Strongly recommended!
