Amazing food. Creamy and rich soup with delicious fish. Worth it. But really expensive

It was one of the best meals I have ever had in Esbjerg. The food was amazing but apart from that the service is awesome. We went there looking for some typical Danish food, and we were surprised of how good it was. The owner (or at least he looked like the owner) recommended us to try the Stjerneskud which is a very Danish dish with fish, salmon and shrimps and it was amazing. We also had some local beer that he recommended and some desserts that I was not able to take pictures as we started eating before I took my phone out. I highly recommend the fish and in the desserts the one either apple.

This a really cute restaurant. The restaurant serves homemade danish food. The price are fair and the portions are huge. Furthermore, the owner is super friendly. If you visit Esbjerg, you need to go here!

Quaint little spot in the middle of the inner city with excellent food. The atmosphere is a combination of cozy,antique/old style grandma's home. The service is excellent with a very friendly and informative waiter who is happy to recommend various dishes and drinks, and inform you immediately that they don't do salads or have vegetarian options just Traditional hearty food. Hands down My favorite place to eat in Denmark. We were a party of 6 and all ordered the same 2 dishes: Stjernskud 9/10 ( which I ate at other places, but their sauces were way better here) and #17 special- which was an Epic 10/10. Its basically a delicious hearty burger and chips, smothered in Gravy. Honestly one of the most delicious Gravy/Sauces I've ever eaten. I would eat a bowl of it with chips for every meal if I could.

Excellent place with excellent food! Very tasty and the staff was very friendly and helpful, giving you the feeling of a family lunch. Try the chef's suggestions or the Danish beef. Do not forget the Danish apple cake in the end. Bravo for the chef and the staff!
