I had a great experience here as a solo diner. Showed up without reservation and initially was told it might be full and was offered a table right at the entrance in the hall which I gladly accepted. However, the manager went and double-checked and offered me a table inside which had a reservation in 1 hour. This was much appreciated especially because I was ok with the table I had and didn't pressure them and it showed courtesy and how the value their costumers. The food was great and the dessert was even better :). Muhammad was also a great host and very helpful. The vibe is local and a bit loud as you would expect from this style Bavarian restaurant and there a great balance locals as well as tourists. Prices are also reasonable.

Love this place. Simply the best and the #1 best chicken in the world and beer too. Get the chicken trust me. Way less busy at time than main hofbrau house in downtown Munich as this is east of that one. Huge 2000 seat beer garden outside to serving best beer in Munich. Love it.

I came here during Oktoberfest week and I had a great local experience. The food was fantastic. We had pork knuckle and goulash soup, both deliciously cooked. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they made me feel at home and I do appreciate this specially in touristic areas. A great dinner. I will come back

We were here on a Friday evening with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet and the beer garden was full and completely occupied. There was a good mood everywhere. We had a big table in the corner at the back and a home-made buffet was set up next to us at the table. Of course, beer gardens are expensive nowadays. But it's a nice experience to meet up with friends there and chat over a beer and a chicken. Above all, you can bring your own food. The beer garden is certainly one of the most beautiful in Munich and is most comparable in size to the beer garden at Nockherberg. We had a lovely time and the service was great! Can only recommend this place. The toilets were also clean and ok.

A very large beer garden with an efficient outdoor food and drink ordering system. The food and experience is authentic and it creates a fun, social atmosphere. We’ve been a few times and could always find a place to sit even though it’s been busy.
