Happy to have a little piece of Bavaria in the city of Essen! Great food, service, and atmosphere. The best of Königshof!!! Don’t miss the chance to visit and enjoy a bit of German culture and beer!

A little taste of Bavaria in the Ruhrpott! Really nice Biergarten vibe, with all the cuisine classics like schnitzel and käsespätzle. And large beers, of course!

Typical German restaurant with good beer. The service was efficient and friendly. The food quality wasn't consistent. Schnitzel was very good, nuremberg sausages were goog, leberkase (meatloaf) was like "watery" and not good. I would agree with other comments that sour cabbage and potato pure were mushy. The atmosphere is cheerful
