Didn't sit here. We went in didn't seem very clean to us so we left Instead of cleaning it meticulously you want to say it is clean when it is not. Let me add to it then. We walked in no one came to us, we went out back on our own still no one came to us and due to the state and smell of the place we decided to leave. I am very sorry but if that is meticulously clean for you then shame on you. If this is truly your "livelihood" then again shame on you for the state of it and for your reply.

Have to know the vibe in advance or enjoy that type of bar scene. Not for everyone, but it's served by friendly staff and most regulars are the same. It's a Montreal downtown staple bar for locals. Definitely not the same vibe as the tourist spots a block over.

Love this bar! Great atmosphere - live music was really fun and friendly, warm neighborhood pub feel. The service was excellent - both bartenders I had were courteous and speedy. I definitely recommend it!

My favorite spot in Montreal! I started coming here a while ago and now I would come most days, whether solo or with friends. The staff is the coolest—always fun to chat with (every single one of ‘em)— the regulars are also a bunch of the friendliest dudes. Good prices, chill vibe, and the music is always on point, one of the bartenders mentioned that the daily playlist is mostly songs by artists who’ve already performed here, which makes it even cooler. Plus, the place has a nice aesthetic.. Highly recommend!

Went there for some drinks, even if it was empty, I liked it. It has some cool underground pub vibes with grumpy bartender. It’s always fun to chat with them and get some recommendations.
