We stumbled upon this restaurant the way great explorers stumble upon new continents: by Googling “restaurants near me” while hungry and slightly desperate. We were in Essen for Spiel, ready for crowds and chaos, but instead found this oasis filled with relaxed vibes and cheerful young staff. Night one, we went all in on tapas. And by “all in,” I mean our table looked like a medieval feast for six, not dinner for two. Did we overorder? Absolutely. Did we regret it? Not even for a single bite. We cleaned the plates like champions. The food was so good we came back the next two mornings like loyal pilgrims returning to their holy site. Breakfast was amazing. If you want a laid back atmosphere, delicious food, and great staff, this is your place. We came as strangers, left as overly satisfied regulars-in-spirit. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

atmosphere is good , staff friendly, but they hadn't no fresh cakes and torte, i prefer Finca branch in Bochum , staff there are really nice and food arr always fresh and delicious

Great food, cooperative staff with a super nice sense of humor. We went to have a coffee, but turned out to be a brunch, lunch and dessert with ~3 hours of stay. There is a lot of space for different tastes, outdoor, balcony, indoor, etc. the drinks were amazing and the coffee was delicious. Food was very good and on top of all, staff’s behavior and helpfulness was super. Although coming from Köln, we will go there again.

Came to the restaurant with a group of 10. The wait staff was really good although this was after waiting in the entrance for a bit without anyone seating us. Once seated it was great from there. The staff offered my English speaking colleagues English menus, the food was really nice and fresh as well as tasty. All in all a really nice experience and I will most likely be back. Give it a try if you have the opportunity!
