Food is good, but service slow and a bit hustle. Sometimes it was hard to find waiter.

Engelen was an awesome bar to visit in Stockholm, situated near the waterfront in Gamla Stan, the exterior is very inviting with pretty lights and great vibe. The bar is quite large, with the entrance being situated on the side of the building that leads you to the first room which is in the cellar. This comes with its own bar and dancefloor. Going up the stairs leads you to the main room where live performances take place. The bar consists of dark brown wood and looks very aesthetic. The staff were friendly, the alcohol was great and the performances were also good. A great place to visit to relax and enjoy!

Very friendly pub style restaurant 😁 There is a stage in the front for live music and seating throughout the back. The server was super friendly and even made a really good joke at the end of our meal lol The food was delicious 🤌🤌The atmosphere was closer to a tavern style and not a restaurant which was a nice change of pace. Unfortunately we didn't catch the live music that was happening later on in the evening, so next time we are in town it will have to be a stop for my partner and I 🤘 Plus they have really cool hat lights 😏😏

This is by far one of my favorite bars from my 20's. Great food and music as well. The Plankstek is a must 😋
