An authentic British Pub experience. A Calgary fixture that should be visited to sample their varied fare. The food quality is excellent, the pastry is top shelf (try the sausage rolls, seriously!) The music was a bit loud but you can still find a quiet corner to be able to enjoy some good conversation while you savour your meals. Treat yourself, you won't regret it. Prices are reasonable.

Went today with my wife and mother in law for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food, service and beer were all excellent. The food was the best we have had in Calgary in a pub. Sausage rolls were excellent and the bread pudding was like my mom used to make. Thank you for an awesome meal. We will be back. Our server was Jordan-Anne. She was fantastic! Brought extra napkins, asked if we wanted ranch with our wings. We went back on the Saturday and had wings, sausage rolls and bread pudding. Food again was excellent. Service was ok. But Jordan-Anne saw us and remembered us from 4 days before and came over to see us and asked we were and how was the food. How refreshing to have a wonderful staff member like her on your team.

If you’re looking for a solid pub experience in Calgary, Elephant & Castle delivers just that. The food isn’t going to blow your mind, but it’s definitely decent on par with what you’d expect from a classic pub menu. Think fish and chips, burgers, and hearty comfort fare that pairs well with a pint. Nothing fancy, but nothing disappointing either. It’s dog-friendly patio and has a relaxed vibe, perfect for hanging out with friends and furry companion. Whether you’re catching a game or just grabbing a casual bite, it’s a reliable go-to.

It was my first time at this restaurant. The food was good, and the prices were fair. The service was fast at the beginning, but after we finished our meal, we waited a long time for our bill until I had to ask the waiter for it. The atmosphere was decent, especially if you enjoy a downtown crowd.

Incredible place. Perfect for Premier League football. Great music on the PA system. Live music too. It's huge inside so you can come as a large party and they will look after you. The friendliest staff in the city: John and Ciaran I am talking about you! Incredible incredible sausage rolls, to die for. The menu is superb and very competitively priced. The chef has been around for over 20 years, so the food is amazing. This is THE best British style pub in Calgary and the best pub on the east end of 17th Ave. Try it, you will love it. See pics.
