  It's midnight and you're in Barcelona looking for any place to eat. All other places around are only drinks, kitchens closed. You are hearing good rock music, going there and... Food? Sure, tasty burgers on a soft bun, weird options also present (banana and peanut butter, for real!) Music is great, friendly stuff, just sit, listen to great music and relax, you are nodding your head to the beats... Two hours passes and you feel you found one of the modern legendary places of Barcelona

But what truly makes this place unforgettable is its owner, Germán. He’s not just a bartender — he’s the heart of the bar. He treats every guest like a friend, remembers what you drink, shares stories, and makes you feel at home from minute one. Whether you want to enjoy a beer with classic rock or end the night singing along to anthems, El Desván delivers every time. A must-visit for rock lovers in Barcelona. Highly recommended.

  I recently visited this burger spot because I was excited about the design, atmosphere, and the music, it had a cool rock vibe that I was really into. Unfortunately, the food completely ruined my experience. As a vegetarian of over 10 years, I ordered a vegan burger with a Beyond Meat patty. I made sure to specify this in Spanish to avoid any language miscommunication. However, what was brought to me looked completely different from the typical vegan burgers I’ve had. It had actual pork ribs, which left me very confused. I asked the waitress if this was the burger I ordered, and she assured me it was. After some hesitation, I took a bite, thinking maybe the vegan options in Barcelona had become more “advanced” – but it looked and tasted like real meat. As I kept eating, I started to feel sick to my stomach. My friends and I debated whether it was real meat or Beyond Meat, and it wasn’t until I found the Beyond Meat patty hidden under a huge piece of pork ribs that I realized something was really off. At this point, I didn’t want to argue, especially since I had already eaten almost half of the burger. But I stopped eating anyway. When I went to pay, I noticed the receipt said I ordered a “BAD GIRL burger”, which doesn’t even sound like “burger vegano,” and underneath, it mentioned Beyond Meat patty as a gift. I can’t understand why anyone would assume a vegan order would come with a piece of real pork in the first place. It felt like a huge mistake, and the waitress’s quick confirmation that it was the right burger made me feel like I wasn’t even allowed to ask questions. It’s like being allergic to hazelnuts, ordering chocolate ice cream, and then being surprised with hazelnuts on top. The mix-up wasn’t just disappointing; it was UNACCEPTABLE!

  Service: Cool, easy going, professional ----> Cool Guys working there, always pay attention to you, serve the food with passion and make you feel welcome Food: Good Size, Good Price, Epic Value for your money. Its a burger bar with creative and tasty burgers. The Nachos are so delicious and good portion. For 2 Person 13€ (!?) Nachos. What more can you want. The Items on the Menu are mostly Burgers. But the other specific items, like Nachos, Chicken, Tequenos etc. are all best quality and cooked to perfection. The unique part of this place is the atmosphere. Its a ground level restaurant with nice cocktails and drinks. Rock Music, Red Cozy light and a easy going vibe. If you crave for some delicious food for a good price and want a non stiff and cool atmosphere, go here anytime!

  Loved this place. The drinks were strong & a nice serving size. I rarely go to bars, but this place was a lot of fun. They had classic rock music blasting while playing the videos onscreen by the bar. Service was fast & friendly. Bartender made very good drinks. Waitress was also helpful with our food order. Food was very good. My friends burgers were juicy & flavorful. The spicy sauce w/ the potatoes was good. I got the smaller portion of the nachos. Serving size was huge. Had enough for lunch the next day They were extra cheesy how I like it
