What can I say about Dublin Sports Tavern? It’s not just a pub, it’s the launchpad. The boys say “quick one?” and somehow we’re in here, rounds happening at a suspicious pace, someone ordering shots with no explanation, and the night has already chosen its direction. The first time we came was accidental. A harmless stop. By the end, it was obvious: this was the spot. No debates, no alternatives, no “where next?” nonsense. DST is the plan. The drinks come fast, clean, and with zero judgement. The staff run the bar like seasoned operators who understand exactly how a night should flow, just the right amount of chaos management. Respect to them. The atmosphere doesn’t build gradually. It hooks you. Music that hits, people who are instantly easy to chat to, that faint sense that something is going to happen tonight — and it usually does. Strangers become teammates. Decisions escalate. A group of lads becomes a unit. We have become disciples of DST. Not ironically. Not as a bit. Genuinely. We preach it. We back it. We bring people here like we’re giving them cultural education. I walked in as just another guy on a night out. I walked out with a new favourite bar and a story worth retelling. If you know, you know. If you don’t, your first night here will explain everything.

A good casual Irish pub and sports bar. I didn't expect them to have food and it looked good! In Barcelona I was surprised there were not that many places to see a game, thankfully this was not too far from our hotel. Note: they reserve tables through their instagram, for big games this goes fast since the space is on the smaller side, so you unlikely can reserve same day. Also: their posted opening hours on Google are not accurate at the time I write this. I believe they open closer 6:45 not 5:45 (this was the case when I went early). Bonus ammenity: they have rentable battery chargers for your phone which is nice.

Great service and delicious reasonably priced beer, but no locks at the toilet and flush doesn’t work. Good live music.

Came here for guinness Very old fashioned looking bar Food was nice and the guinness was fresh and cold.
