  Finally also made it to this bar. Nice and calm atmosphere. Friendly people. Good place to meet people. Nice beer. Did not check on any food. Will certainly come back.

  I recently visited Down Under Bar, and I have to say, it’s a true gem of an Australian bar. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, with a great mix of locals and travelers, all enjoying the laid-back Aussie vibe. But the real star of the show is the kangaroo pie – it’s absolutely delicious! Flaky, golden pastry envelops a rich, savory filling of tender kangaroo meat, perfectly seasoned with herbs and spices that give it just the right amount of kick. The meat is lean but incredibly flavorful, with a depth that’s hard to find in a typical meat pie. Paired with a cold, crisp local beer, it’s an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking to try something uniquely Australian while enjoying a fantastic pint in a welcoming setting, this bar is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for another round (and pie)!
