Please go on untapped and become the first yellow dot on the map, you have potential. The stout was nice!

This year, I was invited to a party at Don’t Panic, a historic pub and club right in the heart of Essen, on the city’s main square. You can immediately tell it’s an old venue—an authentic, vintage-style pub spread over two levels. The upper floor is significantly elevated, offering a great view of both the dance floor and the bar, as you can also see from the pictures. There’s also a separate, somewhat hidden room on the ground floor where a different type of music is played, adding to the place’s eclectic vibe. I really appreciated the atmosphere—let’s call it folkloric. It’s definitely not a modern venue, but it has a certain vintage charm that makes it unique. The quality of the alcohol was surprisingly high, and they even served döner kebab, which was very good. The venue is spacious, with plenty of seating areas, making it a great spot for socializing. It has a bit of an old-school feel, but it’s a fantastic place for hosting big parties.

I was there as crewmember for No Restraints during their gig, so I had the chance to be there and see not only this amazing club but to go see the backstage which is beautiful and well furnished, the food was a dream, there was everything for snacking and drinking and even a well kept private bathroom in which there's a shower. They have a door on the left of the stage where you can access the record shop, there are some dope things at a very compelling price. You can find gadgets and clothes too. The main room is wide and has a second floor in where the artists have a space with tables and rackets where to put their own copies to sell and hang their clothes to expose. There is a balcony all around the place where you can watch the gigs. It's so damn well managed, Günni has the best voice and is a kind soul. I hope I'll get there soon again. (sadly I don't really have photos of the place but here attached are some things that I shot in there.) Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality even to Chris that welcomed us to play there again!
