We took the ferry over to enjoy an English pub and a Guinness on draft. We enjoyed the local clientele, the dogs they brought, and the people-watching—definitely a more laid-back vibe than the French Quarter. Unisex bathroom up the stairs and into the abyss. Patio with lawn games. A friendly bartender who recommended the best Mexican food I had on our vacation.

Cracking pub right near the ferry terminal, good choice of drinks. Lots to see inside and a cracking big beer garden, gentleman behind the bar was friendly and helpful, think his name was Ian

Neat little place close to the ferry terminal. Great place to get a cold beer on a hot day. Enjoyed their outdoor patio seating

A True Gem of a Pub – Classic Vibes, Top-Notch Drinks If you’re looking for a proper English bar with a welcoming atmosphere and an authentic lineup of drinks, this neighborhood spot is an absolute winner. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, friendly faces and the kind of charm that only comes from a place that truly knows what it’s doing. Their Guinness is poured perfectly – rich, creamy, and smooth, just as it should be. Harp lovers will appreciate the crisp, clean draft that’s hard to come by these days. Whiskey aficionados will find themselves at home too, with a solid selection that includes Powers and Jameson served just right – no frills, just quality. What really sets this place apart is its dedication to doing the classics justice. The English G&T here is refreshing... Whether you’re popping in for a quick pint or settling in for a longer session with friends, the drinks never miss. There’s a timeless pub feel here – cozy, unpretentious, and full of character. It’s the kind of place you return to, not just for the drinks, but for the atmosphere and community. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a proper pint and a taste of English tradition. Cheers!
