  Been here 3 times. We seriously thought this was one of those places where the staff are mean on purpose like "Dick's Last Resort" if you have ever been to one of those. But no lol, the bartenders were just like really mean for no reason? Waited patiently, ordered simple drinks, paid cash and tipped, said please and thank you, etc. but still go a lot of snark. But hey, if you are the area and need a "bar here now" then I guess this works.

  normally i ask around for days for the most relaxed bar with local people. everyone i asked recommended the Chart Room. love this bar. perfect place to network or sit alone.

  Great bar felt like a place for locals so we loved the atmosphere! We went there a couple of times during our visit to NOLA. Good service. Cash only for under $30 spend. Prices are reasonable and the Sazerac cocktail was class!!

  The bartender was fun & knowledgeable. We did not have any food but enjoyed a round of beverages. I tried Nutrl for the first time per the bartender's suggestion. He made a great one!

  If I were forced to name the one quintessential New Orleans dive bar, the Chart Room would have to be at the top. Great and very friendly service, liberal pours and a great grungy atmosphere. This place has it all. This is a cash only bar, but with an ATM in house. A primarily locals bar that anyone should fit right in to. Most people love it and if you get the concept chances are you will too.
