Based on the name Celtic Pub, I was expecting a classic Irish pub atmosphere. On a Sunday evening there were drunk people dancing at the entrance, loud music inside, people shouting and dancing — overall a very lively pub vibe. However, after we managed to get in and sat down at a table, a young blonde waitress approached us in a very rude and unfriendly manner, questioning how we could possibly sit down because they have “table service”. There were no “reserved” signs on the tables, and nothing at the entrance indicating that guests should wait to be seated. If this is a table-service-only system, there should be a clear sign at the door, or small reserved signs on the tables like in most other places. It was extremely uncomfortable to finally sit down, take off our coats, and then be sent away — especially with such an unnecessary tone. A few minutes later, another couple experienced exactly the same situation, which shows that the system is simply not clear at all. The concept and rules need much better communication, and the staff’s attitude could definitely be more polite.

Excellent service, delicious cocktails, and a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A special touch was the waitress remembering my previous order - when we came back, she immediately asked if I’d be having a whisky sour again. Such a lovely and thoughtful way to make guests feel remembered and welcome!

Great bar, maybe it’s not really an Irish bar as such, but it comes close. Great staff & atmosphere. You can watch the football & listen to the great music at the same time. Not the cheapest bar in Gdansk, more like UK prices, but they do a good pint of the black stuff (Guinness)

Amazing place! The Celtic Pub is absolutely fantastic, great vibes, super friendly staff, and delicious food at unbeatable prices. We totally fell in love with the girls who served our table, they were so kind, funny, and full of energy! We even took some photos with them to remember the night. Definitely one of the best pub experiences ever!! highly recommended! 🍻🔥

Nice bar & good service,what more could you want! Prices were a bit on the high side compared to other bars in the area.
