We had a great breakfast here, thanks to Francisco. He was very helpful for us, especially with the tables as well, and translated things we did not understand, answering all our questions! The food quality was amazing, and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice breakfast.

I paid for a cappuccino at the register (β¬2) and had it standing at the bar. Everyone around me seemed to be local and speaking Italian. The space is beautiful, but it also functions as a real everyday cafΓ© where people stop in for their morning coffee. Simple, friendly, and a great experience. Delicious coffee.

It's a lively cafe with a beautiful interior, so I recommend sitting inside. The service was nothing special but it wasn't horrible like other reviews have stated. The servers were attentive and kind enough to give us a seat next to the window so we could people watch while enjoying the view of the piazza. I especially enjoyed the Paszkowski banana and chantilly cake, it was really good. It had the right amount of sweetness without being overly sugary. The banana slices were very yummy. The cappuccino came with a little dark chocolate (house brand). The only thing I would not recommend is the matcha latte, I was curious and shouldn't have drank matcha here when Italy is known for coffee. Lol.

By far the best croissants/cornetto in Florence! The chocolate cream was rich and generous. The skin of the croissants were flaky and the inside soft and buttery. Go to caffe Gilli beside for cappuccino though - tried the coffee here twice and while itβs decent, it lacks the crema so desired in a cuppa.
