Drinks and food were very good. Staff were rude and tried to short change us. We went elsewhere.

Spend your money elsewhere. Rudest staff you could imagine, ganging up on customers because they weren't in the mood to resolve any issues we had. Drinks came late and glasses were dirty. We moved tables due to some horrible smells in the corner we were sitting, then we were quickly told to leave the pub and we weren't welcome if we ''made up our own rules''. Nothing Irish about this pub and I would advise against visiting to ANYONE.

***There is nothing Irish about this pub except the name*** Outrageously unfriendly staff who does not make you feel welcome at all. On my request to play some traditional Irish music I have been told by the woman in charge, that she is not in the mood to change the playlist….. 🙅🏼‍♀️ The staff has no idea how an Irish pub is run. Do they know anything about Irish hospitality??? I suggest the owner keeps a closer eye on his place and does not hand it over to staff on a Saturday night. I will not spend my hard earned money here again!

One of the Pubs I frequent here in Hattingen and it has by far the best atmosphere for a relaxed, casual drink with friends. There is a wide variety of drinks offered, from Guiness and traditional German beer to a well-curated assortment of liquors and longdrinks, all for a very reasonable price. The food is also great as a side, though I would recommend you have your main part of the meal elsewhere as there is hardly any variety. The inside is warm and welcoming in the style of a traditional Irish Pub and the staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely worth checking out if you are around town and looking for a drink!
