I love this beer garden, and every time I'm in Munich I make sure I visit it at least once. The beer is super fresh, sitting in the shade is wonderful and the near trails of the Englischer Garten allow for a nice stroll during or after your stay. Food is basic but good, but you can also bring your own food which is a great feature (and a tell that this is a true bavarian beer garden)

Nice beer-garden with plenty of seating and relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in the self-service area and enjoyed snacks and drafted non-alcoholic beers. Beers were refreshing, food solid and similar to other venues. Compared to (even touristy areas) in Bavaria, prices seem a little high but indeed normal for Munich. Still, charging 1,60 extra for Vanilla sauce coming with a (8,10 € (8/2024)) apple pie, is imho too much. Staff was friendly and also cleared the tables quickly. Restrooms were clean. While some other guests (according to their reviews) had some parking issues, we parked for free, just a 5 minute walk away.

This is a very quaint Biergarten with all the German charm. Hard to find parking because this place holds large amount of people. There is a QR code to scan at the entrance for filling out an online form for contact tracing, it is not a wait to get inside. Grab a food tray, order your food at the counters, pay at the stations, and grab a table in the shade. Perfect Biergarten food, perfect outdoor casual setting among the large trees. Playground for little kids. Highly recommend!!

Positioned in the far north of Englisher Garten it has a restaurant and a Beer Garden. The cuisine is Bavarian. The food in the restaurant was very good, the service excellent. During summer time it has a very nice Veranda outside - book in advance otherwise you will not find a table outside. Recommended
