  Amazing experience! The place brings you back to the Viking Age both visually and tastefully. The menu consists of a few Viking dishes and a great assortment of mead. I tried the venison and both honey beer and mead. Excellent in every way and a must destination for all. Reservation is recommended if you want to eat, plus you get announced in the hall with everyone cheering!

  Amazing Viking Experience! Everything was wonderful, starting with the kind and friendly staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and truly immersive – beer is served in goblets, candles are everywhere, and the entire place makes you feel like you’ve stepped into the Viking age. Even the food matches the theme perfectly. We met some great people there, which made the experience even better. This is an absolute must-visit if you are in Stockholm. They open in the afternoon, and we didn’t make a reservation – we just arrived on time and had no problems. Highly recommended!

  Things to note prior to your visit: 1. Book in advance (at least 1 week prior or more, if travelling in a bigger group). The place is very crowded since the first opening minutes. Without the reservation you likely won't get there. 2. Don't book the times between 17:00-19:00 if you want to get complete experience. The music and theatrical performances start after 18:30. 3. Be prepared to sit very closely with total strangers at a big 11 persons table. There are no seating available for 1 person or smaller groups. Overall, I personally expected a bit more tailored and intimate service - with a very intensive flow of guests coming here the whole service felt like conveyor. But maybe it is only me. The food: the main dish, "Indulgence of the raven lord" was very fantastic and very flavorful, desert "Hyllemore's plate" was a bit underwhelming, nothing spectacular, like store-bought Panna cotta - expected more variety of unique flavors in that dish. House mead - good, but also tried better ones in my life. The best things about this place is atmosphere and price (I paid for 1 person 489 kr or 44eur for main dish, dessert and 1 drink as of November 2025), which is very corresponding to the service and food you get, in my opinion.

  Most awesome atmosphere! I took my mom, 83 years young, and she loved it. Our waitress absolutely amazing. We had the feast for two, absolutely worth it! You got to try the "mjöd!"

  A fun viking themed restaurant with props like a viking hat and a sword for you to put on and take pictures. My sister was a bit disappointed that there was no theatrical announcement when we entered the restaurant. When she was doing research, that was one of the things that made her want to check out this place. We still did have a lot of fun here. Food was great! We had lamb and salmon. The berry pie dessert was perfect. The size was just right and it was not too sweet. The coffee was also very good. Must visit!
